I got a calling!!!

I just found out that I got a calling! It's just a little one, and most everyone get's this one I guess, but I'm still very excited! I'm a visiting teacher for the very first time:) I think it will be way fun, and my roommate Bexi is my partner! I said right from the beginning that I didn't really want a calling, but really I wanted to be a visiting teacher! YAY!

Also tonight our ward is doing baptisms for the dead and it'll be the first time I've been in the Manti temple! I can't wait!:)

Soda Drinking Contest

Friday night my apartment had a soda drinking contest. The rules:

1. Drink as much soda as you can

2. Start at midnight and go until 2:30

3. If you throw up you are out

4. No switching soda, it all has to be one kind

5. Everyone puts a prize in a box and the winner takes it all:)

We built a tower of most of the drinks before we started, if we would have made it taller it would have tipped. We still had 3 more 12 packs :O

Yay I won!!! Winning must run in the family haha! I was determined to not give up! I won after drinking 9 cans of soda! Crazy I know, and quite disgusting! My room mate Kenzie was right behind me by a few sips, but she lost it all. Yuck!

This was about half way through the competition.

When we were done we lined the whole top of our cupboards with our cans with some to spare!

It was way way fun, but we decided we can only do it once a semester because...

Me and Kenzi had a little too much energy after drinkin all that caffeine...and well we started finger painting and drawing funny pictures and sticking really random things to our celing.

we drew eyes on our chins and recorded ourselves singing songs upside down!

We taped our names on our wall and colored them with highlighters!

And the best...we built a fort under our table and slept under there! for two hours at least! we didn't finally fall asleep until about 7:30 am :) Yeah we both crashed on Sunday big time!

voting

So I came home today to vote for the very first time! It was exciting, but I was really nervous. Heck I just thought I was voting for the president...turns out I was voting for a whole lot of other things too! haha Next time I'll be a little more prepared!:) Things didn't exactly work out in the end how I had hoped, but what do ya do? It's all been said and done!

1. It doesn't matter what time I set my alarm for in the morning, almost without fail I wake up at 8.
2. Thanks to Ashley, now when I eat lucky charms I always eat the little anchors first and eat all the marshmallows at the end.
3. I change on average about 3 times a day. :0
4. No matter how often I procrastinate and end up staying up all night doing homework...I can't ever seem to get my homework done early.
5. When I go to sleep I have to be on my right side. I can't fall asleep laying on my back.
6. I don't mind letting people wear my clothes, but I hate it when they look better in it than me;)

Pranks

Sunday night me and two of my roommates were extremely bored and had nothing to do, and our other roommates went "star gazing"! So while they were gone we decided to pull some funny pranks:) We put plastic wrap over their toilet, and rigged it so it shot water out when you flushed it! believe it or not they both worked! It was the funniest thing ever! we did such a good job with the plastic, you couldn't even see it when you were looking for it!:) We had another funny idea too! We were going to put either a beef flavoring cube or cool ade in their shower head!!! But we didn't have a big enough wrench to get it off...so that will have to wait for another boring night!

Camping Trip

Last weekend me and my roommate Bexi went camping with our neighbors! We went up fairview canyon and it was a blast! We made hot dogs and smores (on our smores instead of using Hersheys chocolate we used Reeces! you should all try it!) and they made chocolate strawberry cobler! Yum! They had a great big rope swing too! I didn't get any pictures because it was too dark. but you had to climp up probably 20 feet to a platform and swing from there! It was so scary because I couldn't see a thing, but I did it twice anyway! It was way fun!
The leaves up there were so beautiful! I love fall when everything changes colors! They don't look as amazing in pictures of course but trust me it was awesome!

Glendale

Two weeks ago I went to Glendale with my mom and dad to visit Carlia and McKaydee and on our way we stopped to get gas and it was only 3.45!!! I haven't seen that for a long time, but it was sure exciting:) Lets just hope it stays that way.

We went to church with them on Sunday and then we went for a ride up to their families ranch! It was so beautiful. It was a really fun weekend.
